We at Tantra provide information that is statistically processed, very well researched and critical to business firms and organizations dependent on it – it is a contribution by Tantra to their success. In doing so, we diligently follow all relevant laws concerning the handling of such information in accordance with guidelines laid out by Government and the “ICC/ESOMAR Code” that governs the Market Research Industry. We also stringently follow the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) (EU).

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Personal information can be said to be any kind of information that us submitted to us voluntarily which is identifies any individual/entity – for example, name, email id, phone number, company name, address. It can also include transaction-related information while conducting online transactions on Tantra’s Website, information that is available on Internet via Social Media sites viz, LinkedIn, Twitter, FaceBook, Google, etc., as also the information publicly available to anyone from various Service Providers. It also includes information given during navigation on the Internet whilst visiting various Websites. This could be information on/about the Computer, IP Address, Referral Source, Geographical Locations, duration of such visit/s and the page/s viewed. Rest assured that no sensitive information (including banking) is ever collected.

IP DETAILS:

The use of IP address is just to aid in diagnosis of issues relating to our Server and in the administration of our Website. The user remains always unknown to us. We just get to know which sections of our site is interesting to the visitor, who however remains anonymous even while being tracked – no IP address is linked to anything personally identifiable.

DATA ENCRYPTION:

Every bit of information gathered from users are thoroughly encrypted and there is no question of sharing of the same with any third party. A Data Protection Officer supervises all such data quite stringently. Only very few members have any access to it.

MODIFY/ALTER INFORMATION:

Adequate importance is given to security measures that aims at protecting the loss, misuse and/or alteration of information that is under Tantra’s control. All Data is firmly protected behind a Firewall and access is restricted to only a very few authorized Tantra team.

The information that is location based is collected for the sole purpose of identifying the user country to just enable visitors to visit the desired country’s site. Tantra shares such information with its Mapping Provider for the only purpose of provision of this service to the visitors.

Tantra’s website includes social media features such as, follow on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube channel, Pinterest, Twitter (and Widgets such as the “Share This Button” or interactive mini programs that run on our site). Similar sharing features are also provided in the content and media section of this site. The only purpose of this is for promotion of our services. The sharing in no way indicates or implies patronage towards the organization or its services. These features may result in collection of your IP address, the page you are showing interest in on our website, Cookie that enables proper function of features, which is only to enhance the overall experience. Social Media features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on Tantra’s Website. Your interactions with these features are totally governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
